For over 50 years we have enjoyed sharing summers with loyal customers and staff, many of whom have become good friends!  Unfortunately; due to the uncertain economy and the looming changes in the film industry, we are unable to continue the tradition this year.  It is with much regret that we say goodbye to summer evenings at the Elmvale Drive In.

The Drive In has been a labour of love, especially these last few years, but sadly it cannot continue with love alone.  Technology, and the conversion to digital projection has made us obsolete, and threatens many other independent theatres.

Heartfelt thanks to our customers and friends for their patronage, to the Shut family and all our staff (past & present) for their dedication, and to our friends at Universal Films Canada for their continuous support.

We wish you warm memories of evenings spent at the Elmvale Drive In and we will miss each of you!
